Hey Gert fellas.

I just dropped a communication bomb on this office. I've accepted another job opportunity working with a trade publisher, Candlewick Press. They make children's books and things (Mike, maybe I can get you a deal for Jamtoast).

But anyway, just dropped the email to everyone here to let them know and people are a bit horrified...I've only been here for four months...so I'm sitting here getting calls and emails and such. It was a tough decision. There were counteroffers, people I really like and will miss, etc. But it feels like a weight has been lifted off of my chest, I gotta admit. Things were a bit messy around here, but it wasn't a bad situation or anything...just not as exciting as the new place looks to be.

Just a random note, should you ever find yourself in trouble at Toronto's Pearson airport. I'm pretty sure since you're in Gert, this excuse would also work for you:
